Abstract

Lunar Breach is a 2D top-down action shooter created as a project for George Mason University’s Introduction to Game Design course. Set in a distant future where humanity has long vanished and only robots remain, you play as a heroic machine on a mission to infiltrate an enemy lunar base and destroy a powerful prototype weapon before it’s unleashed.

Battle through three replayable levels packed with six distinct enemy types, and customize your approach with twelve unlockable weapons that you can mix and match into personalized loadouts. Finally, put your skills to the test in a climactic boss fight that intensifies as the fight progresses.

Additional features include full Spanish language support, a trackable achievement system, and save functionality to preserve your progress.

Can you stop the lunar base’s secret weapon? Play for free below and find out!
